In Japan We maintained our competitiveness and enhanced business efficiency by continuing to make strategic investments that reinforced the foundations of each of our operations. We endeavored to bolster our earnings foundations in overseas businesses, steadily expanding operating revenue and income.

At the same time, we are overhauling our cost structure to streamline operating expenses and become more profitable. We will endeavor to maximize profits by balancing cost control and strategic investments.
