Transition of vehicle fleet to eco-friendly vehicles

With the objective of reducing CO2 emissions, from April 2021 JACCS will conduct a phased transition of approximately 50% its vehicle fleet to hybrid vehicles (HVs) and electric vehicles (EVs) by March 2025. The Company’s fleet totals 630 vehicles and is used at its sales offices nationwide. Based on this transition, the Company aims to reduce its gasoline consumption. However, the Company plans to begin introducing EVs once charging facilities and other usage infrastructure is in place, and mass production of EVs has commenced.
