Human Rights Policy

JACCS Group Human Rights Policy

Under the management principle of “contributing to the realization of a future inspired by dreams and an affluent society,” the JACCS Group works together with all its stakeholders to pursue business activities that contribute to the development of society. All of our business activities are premised on the connectedness of people and society, and to ensure that we respect the human rights of all people, we establish here the “JACCS Human Rights Policy.”
This policy, along with our Management Principle, is the foundation of all of the JACCS Group’s business activities. We recognize that respect for human rights is integral to the realization of a sustainable society. Together with the Group’s “Basic Policy on Sustainability,” through the practice of this policy, we will pursue the realization of a society in which the human rights of all people are respected.

1. Basic stance

As a member of society, the JACCS Group recognizes the importance of respect for human rights in all of our business activities. We support and respect norms and standards related to human rights, as set out in such widely recognized documents as the “International Bill of Human Rights” and the International Labour Organization (ILO) “Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.” Furthermore, we respect not only the human rights of vulnerable people in society but the human rights of all people.
We recognize the United Nations “Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights” as a practice framework, comply with relevant laws in all countries and regions in which we operate, and respect international norms and standards. In cases where an inconsistency arises between internationally recognized standards and the laws of individual jurisdictions, we will pursue an approach that respects international standards.

2. Scope of application

This policy is applied to all directors and employees of the JACCS Group. In addition, we request that our business partners*understand and comply with this policy.
