Whistleblower Hotline System

The JACCS Group has established a whistleblower hotline system in order to maintain soundness of the organization. This system accepts reports and provides counseling on problematic compliance-related activity with respect to JACCS Group operations covering a broad sphere—including acts in violation of laws or ordinances. This system strives to prevent compliance violations before they occur, and facilitate self-correction and improvement within the organization, while ensuring the execution of appropriate ex post facto response.

Reporting and counseling

The whistleblower hotline provides an external point of contact to an outside law firm and specialist professionals, as well as points of contact to Audit & Supervisory Board members—who are independent from senior management—and the Compliance Supervisory Department.

Reporting or Counseling Route

Persons covered by the whistleblower hotline system

JACCS Group officers and employees, and those who were formerly officers or employees (including employees covered by a worker dispatch contract or a contract agreement, etc.). Reports and counseling may be done anonymously.

Matters subject to reporting and counseling

  • 1.
Counseling matters, etc., which may be difficult to solve through regular reporting lines
  • 2.
Matters that are clearly in violation of the Code of Conduct and Ethics
  • 3.
Matters that are clearly in violation of the JACCS Group’s rules of employment or various other regulations
  • 4.
Matters that are believed to be in violation of laws or ordinances

Methods for receiving reports and requests for counseling

Contact may be made in writing (by letter), by dedicated telephone or e-mail. In the case of e-mail, the hotline is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. From the perspective of making reporting and counseling requests to the whistleblower hotline user friendly, the Group provides dedicated icons for reporting and counseling on each of its internal network portals. When an employee makes a report or requests counseling via one of these icons, since there is no need to input the recipient details (addressee, e-mail address, or URL), making a report or counseling request is straightforward.
